Trip Details Sea kayaks only. Practice wet exits, various self and assisted rescues some paddle strokes.

Lesson instructed by a Paddle Canada Instructor.  Lesson will include wet exit (no rolling) required to participate in upcoming HOC recreational paddling events as well as self-rescue, assisted rescue, key paddle strokes (forward, backwards, sideways and stopping), plus key safety gear.
 
IMPORTANT PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN KAYAK AND SAFETY GEAR.

Trip Address Cawthra Pool, 1305 Cawthra Road, Mississauga ON L5G 1L4. Pool access from Cawthra Park Secondary School parking lot at Atwater.
Paddling Vessels Permitted Recreational kayaks NOT permitted
Arrival Time Session is 7:00 PM. Arrive at 6:30 pm to unload and change. Session ends at 9 pm. Must remove the kayaks and leave the pool by 9:15 pm.
Please ensure that your kayak is clean and free of dirt

Boat Rental Available No
Bathroom Facitilities on Site Bathroom facilities on location
Trip Safety Requirements PFDs must be worn at all times while in your kayak
HOC Trip Rating Not Applicable
